for websiteA feature by Ani Nazaryan, Kasia Reynaerts, Ronja Määttä, Tiko Zurabishvili and Julia Pabst

A traditional Georgian woman is a perfect wife, a perfect mother and a perfect cook. Still, this perception has been changing over the centuries. Starting from the 19th century to Soviet and post-Soviet eras, a historian, a feminist and a housewife discuss the role of women in Georgian kitchens and the society as a whole.

The project was supervised by professor Karina Schwann
